Education is a powerful tool for social transformation, and at North Eastern Centre for Education, we are committed to making it accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all. We work with children, youth, and adults to ensure that no one is left behind in the journey of learning. Our programs range from early childhood education to adult literacy, focusing on bridging gaps and creating opportunities for lifelong learning. Special attention is given to girls’ education, reintegration of child labourers into schools, and providing remedial support for those who fall behind. We also promote sports, life skills, and learning beyond academics, ensuring holistic development of learners from all backgrounds

Quality Education – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all – is the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4). In alignment with this goal, North Eastern Centre for Education undertakes a broad spectrum of educational activities including research and study, early childhood development (ECD), strengthening ICDS, special education for children with disabilities, STEM coaching, digital and computer literacy, financial literacy, teachers’ training, and vocational education. We also support government schools, school management committees (SMCs), and students admitted under the RTE 25% quota in private schools. Our work includes establishing schools, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), alternative education centers, adult literacy centers, and digital libraries, while also raising awareness on road safety, consumer rights, and sustainable consumption.

Our Initiative: Learning for All

We believe education is not just a right—it is a pathway to dignity, opportunity, and empowerment. Through mobile education units, community libraries, scholarships, and school infrastructure support, we’re building a future where every learner—regardless of age, gender, or background—can unlock their full potential.

Girls' Education

Girls’ education breaks poverty cycles. North Eastern Centre for Education supports girls through awareness, scholarships, and safe, inclusive learning, addressing barriers like child marriage and inequality.

Teacher Training

Teacher training improves education by equipping teachers with modern methods and skills. North Eastern Centre for Education conducts workshops promoting inclusion, technology, and innovative teaching practices.
